Study Task 2

Stage 8 involved me scanning the regular font and shearing
it to a point where I was happy that it was italic enough to be
noticeably different from the regular, but mot overly different
to the point where it doesn't work in line with the other fonts.

The final stage was mainly about refining the lines so that the
curves in the letters flowed a bit more naturally than in stage 8,
as I felt that the stage 8 forms were a bit rigid and look slightly
manufactured, which isn't what italic fonts are about.

Overall I'm very happy with my second typeface, as I believe the fonts do work together
well and have an element of similarity between them, which is what a typeface is all about.
I do feel as if doing the first one and making the mistakes I did has helped me in this
process as I think I've been a lot more time-efficient when creating this typeface.
